1. Return Policy Overview
At GBM Research Supply, product safety, quality, and integrity are extremely important. Because many of our products are medical, laboratory, personal care, sterile, disposable, or hygiene-related items, returns are limited and must meet strict eligibility requirements.
All returns must be approved by GBM Research Supply before being sent back. Items returned without prior authorization may be refused and will not be eligible for a refund.
2. Return Window
Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Returns requested after 14 days from the delivery date will not be accepted.
The delivery date is determined by the carrier tracking information.
3. Return Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for return, the item must meet all of the following conditions:
- Item must be unused
- Item must be unopened
- Item must be sealed in its original packaging
- Item must be in new, resellable condition
- Original manufacturer seals, safety seals, shrink wrap, labels, and packaging must be fully intact
- Item must not be damaged, altered, handled, contaminated, or tampered with
- Item must include all original accessories, inserts, manuals, documentation, and packaging
- Return must be requested within 14 days of delivery
- Return must be approved by GBM Research Supply before shipment
If any of these conditions are not met, the return may be denied.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Due to safety, hygiene, sterility, regulatory, and quality-control standards, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned:
- Opened items
- Used items
- Items with broken seals
- Items with damaged packaging
- Sterile products
- Disposable medical supplies
- Personal care items
- Skin care items
- Wound care products
- Gloves and PPE
- Masks, face shields, gowns, caps, and protective eyewear
- Syringes, needles, catheters, or injection-related supplies
- Liquids, gels, creams, solutions, or consumables
- Temperature-sensitive products
- Special-order items
- Clearance or final sale items
- Items purchased with a promotional discount if marked final sale
- Items missing original packaging or documentation
- Items that appear altered, contaminated, or tampered with
- Any item that cannot be safely or legally resold
GBM Research Supply reserves the right to determine whether an item is eligible for return.
5. No Returns on Opened or Unsealed Products
For safety and quality reasons, GBM Research Supply does not accept returns on any item that has been opened, unsealed, used, worn, tested, handled, or removed from its original packaging.
This applies even if the product was only opened briefly or not fully used.
Once a seal is broken, the item is final sale.
6. How to Request a Return
To request a return, contact us at returns@gbmresearchsupply.com within 14 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Order number
- Full name used on the order
- Item requested for return
- Reason for return
- Photos of the unopened item
- Photos of the original packaging and seals
If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions. Approval is required before sending any product back.
Do not ship any item back without written return approval from GBM Research Supply.
7. Return Authorization Required
All returns require prior written authorization.
Unauthorized returns may be refused, discarded, or returned to sender at the customer’s expense.
Approval of a return request does not guarantee a refund. All returned items must be received and inspected before a refund decision is made.
8. Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by GBM Research Supply.
Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service. GBM Research Supply is not responsible for return packages that are lost, delayed, damaged, or misdelivered in transit.
9. Inspection of Returned Items
All returned items are inspected upon receipt.
A return may be rejected if the item:
- Has been opened
- Has been used
- Has broken or missing seals
- Has damaged packaging
- Is missing parts, accessories, labels, or documentation
- Shows signs of tampering, contamination, or handling
- Is not in original condition
- Is not safely resellable
- Does not match the approved return request
If a return is rejected after inspection, no refund will be issued.
GBM Research Supply may, at its discretion, return the item to the customer at the customer’s expense or dispose of the item if it cannot be safely reshipped.
10. Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
GBM Research Supply does not issue store credit.
Refunds are processed after the returned item has been received, inspected, and approved.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Any return shipping costs, carrier fees, payment processing fees, or handling fees may be deducted from the refund where permitted.
Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for the refund to be processed. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
11. No Store Credit
GBM Research Supply does not offer store credit for returns, exchanges, canceled orders, or rejected items.
All approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method used at checkout.
12. Exchanges
GBM Research Supply does not guarantee exchanges.
If you need a different item, size, or quantity, you may place a new order. If your original item is eligible for return and approved, it may be refunded according to this Returns Policy.
13. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Order number
- Photos of the damaged, defective, or incorrect item
- Photos of the packaging
- A clear description of the issue
Claims submitted after 48 hours may be denied.
Do not discard the item or packaging until we have reviewed your claim. We may require photos, carrier inspection, or return of the item before issuing a replacement or refund.
If we confirm that the issue was caused by GBM Research Supply or occurred during shipping, we may provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.
14. Missing Items
If your order is missing an item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include your order number and photos of all items and packaging received.
Missing item claims submitted after 48 hours may be denied.
15. Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled if they have not yet been processed, packed, or shipped.
Once an order has entered processing or has shipped, it cannot be canceled.
To request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at support@gbmresearchsupply.com. Cancellation requests are not guaranteed.
16. Refused or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is refused, returned to sender, or undeliverable due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, or customer refusal, the customer may be responsible for shipping charges, return shipping fees, and any carrier fees.
Refunds for refused or undeliverable packages are not guaranteed and may be denied for final sale, restricted, sterile, disposable, or non-returnable items.
17. Final Sale Items
Any item marked as “Final Sale,” “Clearance,” “Non-Returnable,” or similar is not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Final sale items cannot be returned for any reason unless the wrong item was shipped or the item arrived damaged and the claim is reported within 48 hours of delivery.
18. Policy Abuse
GBM Research Supply reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, replacements, or future orders if we suspect return abuse, fraud, excessive claims, chargeback misuse, false damage claims, or violation of this policy.
